This film was conceived as a means of initiation for schools and organizations specializing in film culture. It is the first in a series designed to introduce the main technical and aesthetic aspects of film creation.

Malcom, a young student, is temporarily housed in the "Judge's House". The latter, according to the inhabitants of the village, is haunted by the spirit of one of its occupants, the former executioner. But is this story really just a myth ?

Alain is a young student who is misunderstood and rejected by his colleagues. To forget it, he skips school and enjoys a day of freedom on the port of Marseilles, discovering cruise vessels in dry dock and the work of fishermen.
