Joseph is an regular guy who loves watching kung fu movies when he is interrupted by a pair of disgruntled Mormons, Elder Parker and Elder Stone who take his displeasure as a queue to intervene.

Jay is a witty and cultured rookie detective who gets paired with the serious and quiet detective Eddie. The pair must investigate the brutal murder of Victoria French while simultaneously trying to put up with each other. The team gets wrapped up with adventures that quickly become unorthodox.
