Erler Film

An adventure movie directed by Ernst Hofbauer and Natuk Baytan.

Hasmet, director of love stories, wants to make a film which is different than the movies he made before. This movie has a social message. He tries to find a producer but film industry is mainly out of money. When he thinks he finds one, nothing goes as it planned.

This is the tragicomic story of two lovers who cannot ever get together.

Blond bombshell Zeynep, a mute girl who lives with her aging father at a farm. One day five criminals, who just escaped from prison, invades the homes and kills the father and rapes Zeynep. Because of the shock of being raped, she regains her speech and decides to take revenge on the criminals. With the help of the friendly hobo Murat she learns to be en expert shooter, manages to take a brown belt in karate and sets out to kill them all.

This is the story of the politician named Zübük. He gets expelled from the political party that he is a member of, due to corruption. The journalist Yaşar wants to make a news story about his case and investigates Zübük's doings. Yaşar gets baffled at the sly tricks Zübük played on his village people. In the end, he feels sorry about Zübük's present situation, however, as things happen he becomes aware that Zübük has been tricking him.

Cafer, bored with his marriage, works as a cashier. One day he is caught embezzling a large sum of money and ends up in prison. Piraeus Mehmet, Fırıldak Ömer and Cin Ali go to prison to ask him where the money is..

Lale is the only daughter of a wealthy family and inherits all her parents' money and property. On a boat tour, she meets Erol the hair dresser. In the beginning they feel attracted to each other but all this ends as she belittles him for his job. Erol's customers are all his fans. Lale calls Erol home, introducing her maid Suna as the landlady while she takes the role of a pedicurist. Erol and Lale get together again yet this time her cousin Cemil wants to marry her to share her wealth. Cemil tells Erol about it so, he leaves Lale. Cemil and his mother make a plot to kill Lale. Luckily Suna has been eavesdropping and informs Erol right away. Erol reaches home just before Cemil poisons Lale and saves her. The police arrest Cemil. Cemil's mother drinks the poisoned milk, which she has prepared for Lale. In the end Lale and Erol, Suna and Erol's friend Tayfur marry.

It is the Fatih's reign.. When the ship of Naval Captain Yunus is on the way to return to the country, the ship is stopped and controlled by the Black Pirate and his men. All the the treasure and monies are taken by him. The pirate is protected by Prince Nikolas of Kos. They always plunder Turkish villages. Fatih orders Kara Murat to take care of them and save the Captain and his men.

Sultan Khan of Ottoman Empire has fallen in love with Princess Iren of Byzantium. When he asks her father Niktol for her hand he refuses and tries to kill Khan. The Sultan's armies then attack and overtake Constantinople (now renamed Istanbul). Niktol kills Princess Iren and flees with his army to the island of Lesbos. From Lesbos, Niktol launches a series of ruthless attacks on Turkish villages resulting in the death of one of the Sultan's guard's mother. The guard, Murat, is sent by the Sultan on a mission to avenge his mother's death and bring back the head of the man who killed Iren. Murat goes undercover in Lesbos posing as Royal Guard Kostas, seeking the killers.

Gul is a famous singer, married to Captain Engin, who has studied law. Engin goes to Korea during the war. One day Gul is told that he is dead. Her violinist, Cemil fancies her. One day Gul meets Engin again, yet Cemil continues molesting her. Engin takes his daughter while Gul gives becomes an alcoholic and is miserable. Engin learns about her condition and decides to go to her but in a car accident he becomes blind. Gul starts to work in their house under a false name, Seher. In the meantime she gives piano lessons to their daughter Oya. Engin regains his eyesight after a surgery. Cemil attempts to rape Oya, but Gul reaches in time, saves Oya and kills Cemil. Oya finds out that Gul is her mother and asks Engin to defend her in court. A happy future awaits all three.

Mahmut and Abidin work as comedians at a night club, Mahmut is honest yet Abidin is sly. A deaf and mute girl named Kumru is brought to work in the night club.

A bear-leading gypsy from the slums struggles to get back his sweetheart who works for a pavilion runner in the city, until she feels a wistful longing for where she thinks she is belong to and turns recalcitrant against the pavilion runner.

A fortune-teller reveals the Sultan that his daughter will get married to somebody poor, born on the same day with her. So, the Sultan gets all the baby boys born on the same day are killed and only Kadir is saved. Kadir and Leyla grow up together. Leyla wants to marry him but the Sultan refuses this idea. He orders Kadir to be killed, yet Kadir survives fatally wounded. Leyla finds Kadir's place where he is kept as a prisoner. As they escape they get caught. Leyla dies and Kadir who has lost her loved one goes to the desert with the image of Leyla alive in his heart.

Suleyman works at a gas station. One of his customers Kenan, who is a businessman, asks him to be his bodyguard. Suleyman is in love with Oya. Kenan wants to prevent their marriage and makes a plot with his brothel girl Cicek. Cicek has an affair with Suleyman and Kenan takes their photos. As Oya sees the photos, she leaves her job. Kenan gets her to work for his relative Leman who is a tailor. Suleyman quits his work and searches for Oya though without success. Oya gets to know about Leman and Kenan's evil plans and she gets seized on her attempt to escape. Cicek informs Suleyman about Oya's whereabouts. Everybody gets organized to save her and they succeed. Cicek shoots Leman and Kenan at the expense of her own life.
