Arthur Dudley can finally retire, or so he thinks. After receiving an unfortunate letter from his local Job Centre, Arthur is plunged into the depths of an anti-retirement scheme by his government. Arthur endeavours to fight this system and eventually death themselves.

Stephen is a lonely man. As all that is good in his life turns to tragedy, Stephen is confronted with an enigmatic visitor that could mark the next step in human evolution.
