Ένα ξενοδοχείο πάει τόσο χάλια που του έχουν απομείνει μονάχα δύο υπάλληλοι. Υπάρχει, όμως, ένας πολύ σοβαρός λόγος για την αποτυχία της επιχείρησης. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι στοιχειωμένο.

Όταν μια κοπέλα από το Σαν Φρανσίσκο αποκτά έναν ξενώνα στη Νέα Ζηλανδία, αφήνει τα πάντα για να ανακαινίσει το επαρχιακό ακίνητο με τη βοήθεια ενός όμορφου εργολάβου.

Η Adrienne είναι μια γυναίκα που προσπαθεί να αποφασίσει αν θα κρατήσει τον γάμο της ή όχι. Η ζωή της θα αλλάξει όταν γνωρίσει τον Paul, έναν γιατρό που προσπαθεί να συμφιλιωθεί με τον απομακρισμένο γιο του.

Ο Τζιμ κι ο Τεντ είναι χρόνια αστέρια στο βαριετέ. Η απόφαση του Τεντ να πάρει την κοπέλα του και να αποσυρθεί, κάνει και τον Τζιμ να φύγει από την σκηνή. Ο Τζιμ αγοράζει ένα αγροτόσπιτο στην Νέα Αγγλία. Επειδή θέλει να κάνει κάτι πιο ενεργό, κάνει το αγροτόσπιτο πανδοχείο για τις ημέρες των εορτών. Όλα πηγαίνουν καλά, ως την στιγμή που εμφανίζεται ο Τεντ, ημέρες Χριστουγέννων, και βλέπει περίεργα την φίλη του Τζιμ, την Λίντα.

Ο νεαρός ταξιδευτής Allan Grey φτάνει σε ένα απομονωμένο κάστρο και μπαίνει να ξαποστάσει. Γρήγορα, γίνεται μάρτυρας περίεργων φαινόμενων που θα αποκορυφωθούν, όταν η μία κόρη του άρχοντα του κάστρου πεθαίνει από αναιμία.

Μια μυστηριώδης γυναίκα-πολεμιστής με το ψευδώνυμο Χρυσό Σπουργίτι θα ενώσει τις δυνάμεις της με έναν επίσης αινιγματικό πολεμιστή, τον Μεθυσμένο Γάτο, σε μια δύσκολη αποστολή: μαζί θα προσπαθήσουν να ελευθερώσουν έναν αξιωματούχο που τον έχει απαγάγει και τον κρατάει σε ένα βουδιστικό μοναστήρι ένας δαιμονικός ηγούμενος. Με τη δύναμη και των δύο, δεν υπάρχει τίποτα που να τους σταματά στο πέρασμά τους και οι μονομαχίες θα είναι, όπως επιβάλλεται, εντυπωσιακές και μοιραίες.

Ο ζωγράφος Ichiro Aoye (Toshiro Mifune) συναντά τη νεαρή διάσημη κλασική τραγουδίστρια, Miyako Saijo (Yoshiko Yamaguchi), ενώ εργάζεται ζωγραφίζοντας στα βουνά. Προσφέρεται να τη μεταφέρει με τη μοτοσυκλέτα του στην πόλη μια και είναι γείτονες. Στο δρόμο τους εντοπίζουν φωτορεπόρτερς του σκανδαλοθηρικού περιοδικού Amour και τους ακολουθούν. Όταν η Saijo αρνείται να τους δώσει συνέντευξη, εκδικούνται δημοσιεύοντας μια φωτογραφία από το ζευγάρι το πρωινό στο μπαλκόνι που συνοδεύει ένα κείμενο με τον τίτλο Η έρωτική ιστορία της Miyako Saijo. Ο Aoye γίνεται έξω φρενών από το κατασκευασμένο σκάνδαλο και αποφασίζει να ξεκινήσει δικαστικό αγώνα εναντίον του περιοδικού...

Οταν κληρονομεί ένα ξενοδοχείο, η Μακένζι αποφασίζει να το ανακαινίσει για να το πουλήσει. Το σχέδιο όμως είναι απαιτητικό και ξαφνικά οι βοηθοί του Αγιου Βασίλη εμφανίζονται για να τη βοηθήσουν!

Dick Loudon and his wife Joanna decide to leave life in New York City and buy a little inn in Vermont. Dick is a how-to book writer, who eventually becomes a local TV celebrity as host of "Vermont Today." George Utley is the handyman at the inn and Leslie Vanderkellen is the maid, with ambitions of being an Olympic Ski champion; she is later replaced by her cousin Stephanie, an heiress who hates her job. Her boyfriend is Dick's yuppie TV producer, Michael Harris. There are many other quirky characters in this fictional little town, including Dick's neighbors Larry, Darryl, and Darryl...three brothers who buy the Minuteman Cafe from Kirk Devane. Besides sharing a name, Darryl and Darryl never speak.

Our Inn is a large scale space time scenario experience variety show which features 7 regular members who are partners of the inn.

Struck by Lightning is a 1979 American television sitcom about Frankenstein's monster, which aired on CBS. Like Working Stiffs, another 1979 CBS sitcom, this show was canceled after only three episodes were aired in the United States, although all completed episodes did end up being shown in England on ITV in 1980.
