ولتون یک مدرسه جدی، منظم، محافظه کارانه و خسته کننده برای دانش آموزان است. اما با ورود معلم انگلیسی جدید جان کیتینگ به مدرسه، چیزهای زیادی تغییر خواهد کرد که به شدت در تضاد با وضعیت موجود مدرسه است. کیتینگ با معرفی شاگردانش با شعر و آثار ادبی با کیفیت، تأثیر عمیقی بر بسیاری از آنها می گذارد و به شکل دادن به رویاهای آنها کمک می کند. البته طولی نمی کشد که رویکرد معلم مورد توجه و رسیدگی مدیریت مدرسه قرار می گیرد.

نام فیلمی زندگینامه‌ای و درام آمریکایی است که دربارهٔ زندگی جان نَش ریاضیدان برندهٔ جایزهٔ نوبل اقتصاد و مسائلی که به دلیل بیماری روان‌گسیختگی با آنها مواجه می‌شود، ساخته شده است. این فیلم در سال ۲۰۰۱ بر اساس کتابی به همین نام و نوشتهٔ سیلویا ناسار و به کارگردانی ران هاوارد ساخته شده است. بازیگران اصلی آن راسل کرو در نقش جان فوربز نش و جنیفر کانلی در نقش همسر وی هستند. داستان فیلم از جایی آغاز می شود که ریاضیدان درخشان، «جان فوربز نش جونیر» (کرو) با «آلیشیا» (کانلی) ازدواج کرده است و زندگی خوشی دارد. تا این که، ظاهرا، «ویلیام پارچر» (هریس) مأمور سیا به سراغش می رود و می خواهد در زمینه ی فعالیت های رمز شکنی به کارش بگیرد…

چن چن به دنبال مرگ مرموز استادش به چین باز می گردد. در آنجا او با ژاپنی های نژاد پرستی مواجه میشود، و بر خلاف دوستانش در مقابل ظلم آن‌ها ساکت نمی ماند و با بهره گیری از تخصصش در هنرهای رزمی، در مورد مرگ استادش تحقیق می کند.

دوئی فین یک نوازنده گیتار در یک گروه موسیقی راک است که از گروهش بیرون انداخته می‌شود و این در حالیست که او نیاز زیادی به فراهم کرد پول برای پرداخت اجاره خانه و صورت حسابهایش دارد. در همین حین با دوست و همخانه‌اش ند اشنیبلی که معلم مدرسه است تماس گرفته شده و پیشنهاد تدریس موقت در کلاس چهارم یک مدرسه خصوصی می‌شود. دوئی خود را به‌جای ند جا می‌زند و این پیشنهاد را پذیرفته و به عنوان معلم به آن مدرسه می‌رود. او در کلاسش مخفیانه و دور از چشم مدیر و سایر معلمان شروع به یاد دادن موسیقی راک به بچه‌ها می‌کند و متوجه می‌شود استعدادهای موسیقی خوبی بین این بچه‌ها وجود دارد؛ بنابراین دوئی تصمیم می‌گیرد یک گروه راک اند رول با همکاری بچه‌ها تشکیل دهد که در مسابقاتی که بین گروه‌های موسیقی برگزار می‌شود شرکت کنند تا با برنده شدن در این مسابقات جایزه آن را بدست آورند. اما در شب قبل از مسابقه در جلسه انجمن اولیاء و مربیان توسط دوست دختر ند لو می‌رود و فرار می‌کند. فردای آنروز بچه‌های کلاس با جیم شدن از مدرسه پیش او می‌روند و با هم در مسابقه شرکت می‌کنند.

Television, and also became produced by Bickley-Warren Productions by the third season. The show originally aired on Tuesdays in prime time after sister series Full House. After the series ended, Connolly appeared in a short-lived spin-off titled Billy. The series was created and executive produced by Rich Eustis and Michael Elias. Rich Eustis had previously worked as a New York City substitute teacher while hoping to become an actor.
