כמו בשני הסרטים הקודמים, גם הפעם העלילה מתמקדת ב"ארט הליצן" שבסרט החדש משחק את סנטה קלאוס למען תושבי וילדי מחוז מיילס, והרעיון שלו לחגוג את שמחת החג כוללת באופן מפתיע – רצח, מהומה ובעיקר הרבה דם.

קסרקסס, בן התמותה שהפך לאל, חוזר להוביל את כוחות הפרסים בפלישתם ליוון.

סוכן הסי-איי-איי לשעבר רוברט מקול נהנה מהקריירה החדשה שלו בתור נהג, וחוץ מכמה פעולות מינוריות של הענשת אנשים רעים ועזרה לחברים, הוא משתדל לשמור על פרופיל נמוך. כל זה משתנה כאשר חברתו מהסוכנות מסתבכת בחקירת רצח של סוכן באירופה, ומביאה את החבר הנאמן לנקות את האבק מתיבת המיומנויות הקטלניות שקבל בסוכנות, ולהגיע ליבשת בכדי לאתגר את הנבלים התורנים.
