海辺の小さな町にやって来たタエコ（小林聡美）は、素朴で小さな宿・ハマダに到着。宿の主人・ユージ（光石研）とその愛犬、さらには不敵なほほ笑みをたたえた女性・サクラ（もたいまさこ）らに出会う。何日かを過ごしたタエコは、マイペースに明け暮れるハマダでの毎日に違和感を覚え、別の宿へ移る決心をするが……。
