Davi relives his most traumatic memory: his 9th birthday.

Set in the 1980's, this short film written/directed by Jay J. Levy follows a teenage boy's relationship with his mother as it takes a wild turn on his 16th birthday when his mother finds all-male adult magazines under his bed.

On his 16th birthday, alone and depressed Yoke is taken on a journey by his friend Rico, to have the best birthday possible given the poverty stricken circumstances; some unexpected company and lessons are found along the way. Shot on MiniDV tapes and totally handheld.

It's Paul's birthday and his grand-mother is about to give him a present. Unhappily, it is not the electric train he was expecting... But the surprising gift will bring the big boy on tremendous emotions.
