A spiritual, bloody tale of revenge from beyond the grave! A woman (Kenyon Page) who is in a hit and run accident and left for dead by numerous witnesses, calls upon the avenging spirit of Lady Midday to wreak havoc on the guilty.

The story follows the life of Katyusha and is based upon the legend of Baba Yaga, a ferocious old lady with magical powers.

The plot is the embodiment of everyday belief about the impact of a certain evil force on a person. The action develops in a peasant environment.

The hermit Berimir goes to the forest in search of the missing village girl Anyutka. He leads her back to the village, but the prophetic bird Sirin prophesies trouble. Berimir decides to go a roundabout way.
