In the 1940s, in a town in southern Sonora, Mexico, people begin to disappear. Soon after, some are found dead and mutilated. Vicente Ruíz, the police commissioner, begins the hunt, hoping for a mistake.

Commander Marte has to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of policeman Godinez. Later, he discovers that he has been kidnapped by a group of beautiful but malevolent women who demand a lot of money in exchange for the policeman.
