Two salesmen arrive at an old woman's house to offer her a great deal.

David Riondino, an Italian film director, is coming to Spain to document the Atocha massacre of 1977, to make a film on its 50th anniversary. He will be helped by Alejandra, a young documentary filmmaker who urges him to contextualise the past with the current rise of the far right. By investigating the Atocha attack, David will recover a part of that recent past and at the same time will witness a reality that encourages reflection on some burning issues such as the advance of the far right, problems of access to housing and job insecurity.

Carlos and Toñi live in a tiny apartment in a marginal neighborhood. They have not been able to pay their rent for months, the power is cut off quite often and they survive by collecting scrap metal. Now the day has come when Henrik and Jens, two Danish tourists willing to spend a day with a poor family, come to meet them.

A film director sets out on a road trip to scout locations for her next film. An admirer of Resnais and experimental cinema, she tries to create a story in which her own story is mixed with that of a singer with whom she had a relationship in the past.

Miquel moves to a town in the Spanish countryside. He is there to work in an industrial mill, ran by siblings María and Ángel. María, who dislikes her work and the neighbours she has to do business with, finds in Miquel a person similar to her.
