Becket Redfellow almost has it all: wit, culture, and style. Only unlike his mother – the daughter of one of the wealthiest men alive – he didn't grow up in the lap of luxury in Huntington, New York, but among the working class in New Jersey. His mother Mary was cast out of her super-rich family the moment Becket was born, but she always told him that something had been taken from him and that he was destined for more. As he hatches a murderous plot to get rid of the 7 family members who stand in the way of his inheritance, he soon realizes that killing them all is no small task. Especially as Julia, a girl he used to like, threatens his plans when she discovers that the charming but poor boy she once knew could soon become a pretty good catch.
