In Jamaica aangekomen om een onderzoek in te stellen naar de raadselachtige moord op een Britse geheim agent en zijn secretaresse, ontdekt James Bond dat deze moorden deel uitmaken van een groots opgezet complot.

De Driver is specialist in het rijden van de ontsnappingsauto bij roofovervallen. Hij is nog nooit aangehouden. Na weer een geslaagde ontsnapping maakt een politieagent het zijn prioriteit hem aan te houden.

Het beschrijft een verscheidenheid aan verhalen, maar de belangrijkste volgt Henry Sugar, die door objecten heen kan kijken en de toekomst kan voorspellen met behulp van een boek dat hij heeft gestolen.

De scholier Kenji Koiso is een wiskundig genie, die parttime werkt als programmeur voor de virtuele wereld Oz op internet. Natsuki, het meisje waarop hij stiekem verliefd is, nodigt hem uit bij haar familie voor de 90ste verjaardag van haar oma. Ze vraagt Kenji vervolgens om net te doen alsof hij Natsuki's verloofde is. Ondertussen zorgt zijn poging om een wiskundige vergelijking op te lossen voor een botsing tussen Oz en de fysieke wereld.

Om zijn collegegeld te betalen, gaat de verlegen maar briljante Ben Campbell samen met een selecte groep topstudenten elk weekend naar Las Vegas. Het doel: hun kennis gebruiken om de uitkomsten van blackjack naar hun hand te zetten. Onder leiding van de onorthodoxe wiskundeprofessor en statistiekgenie Micky Rosa, kraken ze de code en verslaan ze de casino's keer op keer.

Flaemmchen (Crawford) is een stenotypiste die bewust haar sex-appeal gebruikt om in een mannenwereld een minimum aan economische zekerheid te verkrijgen. Otto (Barrymore) is een ziekelijke boekhouder die wat geld verduisterd heeft om zich voor het laatst te buiten te kunnen gaan, terwijl Preysing (Beery) een fabrikant is die wanhopig een grote slag tot een goed einde probeert te brengen.

"Yu-Gi-Oh!" is het verhaal van Yugi, een jongen die bezeten is van het kaartspel Duel Monsters. Wat als een spel begint, wordt al snel realiteit; kan Yugi de aarde van zijn ondergang redden?

Een arbeidersechtpaar is virtuoos in een Napolitaans kaartspel en laat zich door een Amerikaanse miljonaire en haar secretaris strikken voor een wedstrijd. Ze vergeten daarbij dat de tegenstandster de sterkste troef heeft: geld. Zodoende kan ze met steeds hogere inzetten blijven doorspelen. Drastisch ingrijpen van het dochtertje redt de ouders van de totale ondergang.

Ko Chun is een helderziende gokker die altijd wint met kaarten of dobbelen. Maar dan krijgt hij een ongeluk waarbij hij gewond raakt aan zijn hoofd. Hij wordt gevonden en verzorgd door Dagger, maar Chun heeft nu geheugenverlies en de persoonlijkheid van een kind.
