In Dune: Part Two gaat de legendarische reis van Paul Atreides verder in gezelschap van Chani en de Vrijmans, terwijl hij zint op wraak op degenen die voor de ondergang van zijn familie gezorgd hebben. Paul zal moeten kiezen tussen de liefde van zijn leven en het lot van het universum om de vreselijke toekomst te voorkomen die hij als enige voorzien heeft.
Paul Atreides is de erfgenaam van het Huis Atreides. Hij staat op het punt om met zijn familie de planeet Caladan te verlaten voor Arrakis, een woestijnplaneet die ook bekend staat als ‘Dune’. De nieuwe planeet is rijk aan melange, dat meestal ‘the spice’ genoemd wordt. De unieke drug met levensverlengende, geestverruimende en soms dodelijke krachten wordt beschouwd als het meest waardevolle goed in het hele universum.
Luke Skywalker werkt op het land bij z'n oom en tante op de planeet Tatooine. Als zij door Keizerlijke troepen worden vermoord, sluit Luke zich aan bij de groep rebellen die vecht tegen de tirannie van de Keizer en de slechte Darth Vader. Dertig jaar na de overwinning op het Galactische Keizerrijk is er een nieuwe bedreiging: de kwaadaardige Kylo Ren en de First Order. Stormtrooper Finn loopt over naar het verzet, crasht op woestijnplaneet Jakku en ontmoet hier Rey.
Terwijl ze haar eerste stappen heeft gezet in een grote wereld, gaat Rey verder op haar epische reis met Finn, Poe en Luke Skywalker in het volgende hoofdstuk van de saga. Rey gaat in de leer bij Luke Skywalker op Ahch-To. Luke moet ondertussen afrekenen met een geloofscrisis.
In de 23e eeuw wordt, zoals elke 5000 jaar, het leven op de aarde bedreigd. De enige die het onheil kan voorkomen is een vrouw, het Vijfde Element. Zij wordt geholpen door de taxichauffeur Corben Dallas. Samen moeten ze op zoek naar de andere vier elementen, en hierbij verschillende mensen en aliens zien te omzeilen.
Even voor het ontstaan van menselijk leven op aarde ontdekt een groep apen een monoliet. Vier miljoen jaar later wordt een gelijkaardig object ontdekt op de maan dat een signaal uitzendt naar Jupiter.
De rebellen gaan vechten tegen het meedogenloze leger van de Moederwereld. Een strijd waarbij onverbrekelijke banden worden gesmeed, helden opduiken en legendes ontstaan.
Wanneer de meedogenloze legers van de Moederwereld een rustig boerendorp op een verre maan bedreigen, biedt een mysterieuze outsider de enige hoop op overleving.
Een jaar na de gebeurtenissen uit 'The Last Jedi' vindt voor een laatste keer de confrontatie tussen het verzet en de First Order plaats. Wie komt er als overwinnaar uit de bus? Naast de strijd moeten Rey en consorten ook hun persoonlijke demonen en verleden onder ogen zien. Terwijl het conflict tussen de Jedi en de Sith zijn hoogtepunt bereikt, mengen ook oude bekenden zich in de strijd.

In de 28ste eeuw zijn speciale agenten Valerian en Laureline een team dat de orde in de menselijke gebieden handhaaft. In opdracht van de minister van Defensie gaan de twee op missie naar de wonderbaarlijke stad Alpha – een bloeiende metropool waar inwoners uit alle hoeken van het universum al eeuwen samenkomen.
'Star Trek into Darkness' volgt de bemanning van de Enterprise, als zij terug naar de Aarde worden geroepen. Daar ontdekken ze dat een niet te stoppen terreurbeweging binnen de Starfleet de vloot heeft vernietigd, samen met alles waar zij voor staat. Als gevolg daarvan verkeert de wereld in staat van crisis en moet Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) een klopjacht leiden op de verantwoordelijken. Hij blijkt daarbij nog een persoonlijke rekening te moeten vereffenen.
In het derde jaar van een vijfjarige missie arriveert de USS Enterprise op Starbase Yorktown voor bevoorrading en verlof voor haar vermoeide bemanning. Kapitein Kirk heeft moeite met de motivatie en dient een aanvraag in voor een promotie tot vice-admiraal en de commandant van Yorktown.
Jupiter Jones werd geboren onder een sterrenhemel, met tekens die erop wijzen dat ze voorbestemd is voor grootse dingen. Eenmaal volwassen droomt Jupiter van de sterren, maar ze wordt wakker in de harde realiteit waar ze toiletten schoonmaakt en heel wat pech kent.
