Surrounded by the infected and unable to avoid them for much longer, the Thompsons help Teller escape, while he continues his video diary.

After a couple of elderly Vegas entertainers shoot Teller, they pick up his recording equipment and decide to start a video diary of their own, while dealing with the infected in a secluded abandoned house.

After being cared for by the Thompsons, Teller is finally back to health and doing his video diary once again. In the meantime, the elderly couple do a magic show for him and the infected as the audience.
