ระหว่างที่ สแคร็ท ง่วนฝังผลไม้เปลือกแข็งในยุคน้ำแข็ง แมนนี่, ซิด, ดีเอโก้, และ หนูน้อยโรชาน ก็ร่วมเดินทางเจาะยุคน้ำแข็งมหัศจรรย์ไปด้วยกัน พวกเขาเกือบจะเอาตัวไม่รอดจากหิมะถล่ม, ต้องต่อสู้แย่งชิงอาหารจากกลุ่มนกโดโด้ ที่ดิ้นรนปกป้องอย่างสิ้นหวัง, ค้นพบความลึกลับของผ้าอ้อม, ลื่นไหลไปตามถ้ำน้ำแข็งราวกับขี่รถไฟเหาะในโลกยุคน้ำแข็ง, และยังต้องข้ามสะพานน้ำแข็งที่ทอดผ่านทะเลลาวาร้อนสุด ๆ ซึ่งไหลออกมาจากปากปล่องภูเขาไฟ ทั้งหมดจึงกลายเป็นกลุ่มสัตว์ที่ผ่านการเดินทางสุดมหัศจรรย์ยิ่งกว่ายุคใด ๆ เลยเชียวล่ะ

สามสหายแห่งโลกยุคน้ำแข็งมหัศจรรย์ ทั้ง แมนนี่ ช้างแมมม็อธขนปุย, ซิด ซลอธสุดเฉื่อย, ดิเอโก้ เสือเขี้ยวดาบ และ สแคร็ท กระรอกฟันเหยินสุดอาภัพ ยังคงร่วมหัวจมท้ายอยู่ด้วยกัน และสนุกสนานไปกับโลกที่กำลังละลาย แมนนี่ก็พร้อมแล้วที่จะสร้างครอบครัว แต่ก็นานมากแล้ว ที่ไม่เคยมีใครเห็นช้างแมมม็อธตัวอื่นเลย แมนนี่เลยปลงตกคิดว่า ตัวเองคงเป็นช้างแมมม็อธตัวสุดท้าย จนกระทั่งเขาพบกับ แอลลี่ อย่างปาฏิหาริย์ ซึ่งเธอเป็นช้าง แมมม็อธเพศเมียตัวสุดท้ายบนโลกใบนี้ ติดปัญหาอยู่นิดที่ว่า ทั้งสองไม่อาจปรองดองกันได้แม้สักวินาทีเดียว แถมแอลลี่ยังคิดว่าตัวเธอเป็นพอสซั่มเสียด้วยซ้ำไป แอลลี่ยังมีภาระติดตัวเป็น "พี่น้อง" พอสซั่มสองตัวชื่อ แครช กับ เอ็ดดี้ คู่หูป่วนนรก และเป็นตัวสร้างปัญหาปากเสียสุดอวดดีอีกด้วย นอกจากนั้นก็ยังมี ตัวนิ่ม ฟาสต์ โทนี่ มันเป็น วายร้ายจอมปลิ้นปล้อน ที่เที่ยวหาทางพลิกวิกฤตให้กลายเป็นช่องทางทำกินทุกวิถีทาง

เอมิลี่ ยัง นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ต้องการได้รับเลือกเป็นประธานชมรมภราดรภาพ เธอรับสล็อธตัวน่ารักมาเลี้ยง โดยคิดว่ามันอาจกลายมาเป็นมาสคอตตัวใหม่ของเธอและช่วยให้เธอชนะได้ จนกระทั่งมีเหตุการณ์เสียชีวิตจำนวนมากที่ทำให้สล็อธกลายเป็นผู้ต้องสงสัยหลักในคดีฆาตกรรม

Two very different friends – Lupi – a maned wolf, super confident and full of energy, and Baduki – a dreamy and introverted sloth – embark on adventures while learning about differences, friendship and the world. In fact, everyone in Vila Figueira has many differences between them… but that doesn’t stop them from being friends and having fun!

Meet The Sloths follows a year in the life of five slow-moving residents of the Aviarios Sloth Sanctuary in Costa Rica, a sanctuary dedicated to saving orphaned or injured sloths. Filmmaker Lucy Cooke headed to the sanctuary to follow the stories of these loveable and unique creatures. And, apart from filming adorable videos – including one that’s got two million hits on YouTube – she has captured a unique insight into these very secretive animals. The stories demonstrate the difficulty in caring for sloths, and stories include: baby sloth twins fighting for survival, an injured and sexually frustrated ex-lothario sloth called, naturally, Randy and at the oldest living sloth in captivity that has lived to the ripe old age of 20-years-old. Over a year in their company Lucy watches as an unlikely soap opera of love, loss and lust develops and learns first hand that although slow on their feet, a sloths life is anything but slothful.
