In the second instalment of our BOM Classics series we captured the story of Ege Ferguson, owner and restorer of a Ford GT40 replica. Having desired a GT40 since its launch in the mid-1960s, it wasn’t until 1990 that a freak fire created an opportunity for Ege to realise his dream. Here he tells the story of his fascination with the legendary car and his ten year restoration project.
