HAN-LEUNG is talked into agreeing to get the ransom from the provincial Governor. Secretary Law kills the Governor's son by accident and put the blame on HAN-LEUNG. CHINO-CHING learns that HAN-LEUNG is arrested and is to be executed soon. She goes to see the Governor and is granted seven days to find the real murderer.
