Given the pardon by Taiwan authority, YAN TING comes out of prison and returns to Hong Kong with the ash of her late husband, LAU KAI CHUNG. The barrister, LEO LAW, follows the will of his late father, inherits his law firm and changes his job to run the lawyer business. A worker, LAM YUK HA, is dismissed without reason after she gets injured in an industrial accident. LEO demands compensation from the employer for her and goes to the working place to investigate. TSEUNG HOK NIN, a wealthy merchant and a family friend of LEO, is shocked and angry because his only daughter, NGA YEE, informs him that she will marry in the USA, and LEO calms him down.
