Siu Shan has become a witness, and hires Yau Kwok-Chung, another queen s counsel to represent Yin Pong. However, the later is drawn into domestic entangles and cannot concentrate which leads to Siu Shan losing confidence in him. Kwok-Chung is mediocre in court, and is rebuked by Sai Bond. He loses the case and the sentence is uncharged. Both Wing-Cheung and Siu Shan are very disappointed.
On his visit with his two sons to the prison, Wing-Cheung found that Yin Fong is already severely disturbed, and does not recognise them anymore. Wing—Cheung is very sad.
