YUNG tries to take her life by burning charcoals. After knowing that FRANCES has persuaded YUNG into testifying against SUM, PAUL accuses FRANCES of pushing YUNG even though she knows that YUNG is troubled mentally. FRANCES is speechless. TY promotes MC. Thinking that MC got the promotion because of her, BETSY asks MC to treat her to dinner. SUM is acquitted. The family members of the victim push him onto the ground in anger outside the court. SUM, who has foam at his mouth, is rushed to the hospital. PAUL finds that the tumor in his brain has burst and that an operation is needed immediately. Unfortunately, SUM dies. TY recommends MC to conduct a bypass operation for Professor TIN, who is a famous cardiac surgeon. MC needs BETSY to look after TIN after work.
