Alma visits him in hospital. He tells her that he's pleased she's not selling the cafe anymore. Whilst studying at the library, Andy meets Paula Maxwell. They are attracted to each other. Bet believes that Alec was faithful and rips up Cherie's postcard. Tracy tells Deirdre that they should take Ken in when he's discharged.
