YAN gives LEI a lift home. She turns down his suggestion to go up to her place for a cup of coffee. YAN sits in at the editorial meeting. NGA is interviewing the tycoons in town. YAN volunteers to give her a name list. None of the tycoons YAN recommended has accepted NGA’s interview. YAN therefore volunteers to be her interviewee. By doing so, YAN can spend a few days with the CHUNGS, thus getting close to LEI. YAN learns that NGA would like to borrow money from her family to study abroad when he is having dim sum with the family. CHU decides to call on a family meeting for the matter. YAN announces at the editorial meeting the establishment of the Outstanding Staff Award, and that the winner this year is NGA. Later, over a meal, CHU accuses YAN of meddling in the way he teaches his daughter. WING tells CHU about YAN’s family. YAN is home alone when CHU and his family suddenly turn up to celebrate his birthday with him.
