One of SIN-TING's repeat customers designates YAT-MING and WAN-YEE to design the interior of his home, which makes SIN-TING very upset. After KAN KIT unintentionally learns that SUET-YIM is eager to find a venue for the performance, she tries to borrow $500,000 from SAU-FONG because she intends to sponsor SUET-YIM for the play by adding the borrowed money to some of her own savings. But she is turned down by SAU-FONG, following which she goes to borrow money from KAM-FU, who then asks SHING-HONG to clarify the truth. Leading KAN KIT to a jewellery store, HAK-KAN hands over a cheque for $500,000 to KAN KIT, adding that she need not to return the money if she marries him, yet KAN KIT expresses that she needs to think about it.
