YING and KAU's ship sinks during the typhoon. When YING and KAU are rescued by the other boatmen, KAU has already died. YING thus feels very upset. Sometime later, WAH has arranged the funeral for KAU. YING stands up again after receiving KUEN's persuasion. She also promises to have WAH returned to the town to live with her family. KAN still addicts to gambling. FONG feels very angry and tells LOY. LOY then asks MAN to get back the power of KAN. KAN then steals lots of MAN's gold and flees away. MAN feels very angry and beats FONG. HEI requests MAN not to beat FONG. This affects her pregnancy. Finally, she gives birth to a son.
